Carver Chronicle Articles: Writing Format

 

 

To write a Carver Chronicle article:

• For Sports and other Competitions:

  • Make sure you are writing in the Third Person. Instead of "We made a goal as I kicked the ball," say, "Carver made a goal as Nicholas Brazda kicked the ball." A good way to remember how to write in third person is by imagining you were watching the event from the sidelines, not as though you were participating.

  • Make sure that you include the score. If you don't know, ask someone who does. The score is very important to have in the article.

  • Make sure you cover what the other team did as well. Don't let your story be one-sided.
